What Is Sperm Count?
A sperm count is the measurement of sperm and seminal fluid in the male ejaculation. The test determines the amount of sperm in the fluid, their ability to move, their general health and structure and the amount of fluid produced. A count includes the amount of sperm per ml of fluid and the amount of fluid produced.

1. Get regular exercise: While you should avoid vigorous training programs, regular and moderate exercise helps you maintain a healthy body weight, helps control stress, and gives you a healthier overall body.Do not overly exercise: Overly intense exercise (high levels of adrenal steroid hormones can cause a testosterone deficiency).

2. Perform relaxation exercises: Since infertility and life in general can be stressful, learn to relax. Stress is sometimes responsible for certain infertility problems such as hormonal problems.

3. Maintain a healthy weight: Not too under or overweight since weight influences estrogen and testosterone levels.

4. Watch your body temperature: Avoid vigorous exercise, hot tubs, tight underwear, and saunas since they raise the body temperature and may cause changes in ovulation and reduced sperm count.

5. Check for exposure to heavy metals: Heavy metal toxins may affect ovulation. A hair analysis can determine exposure.

6. Take age into consideration: A man's fertility begins to decrease after he is thirty so take this into consideration when deciding when to have children.

7.Eat well, get hydrated and sleep well. Malnutrition and anemia can negatively affect your sperm count.Take a regular vitamin and fertility supplement including folic acid

8.Stop using drugs: Prolonged use of recreational drugs (for example, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine).and Stop steroids: Anabolic steroid use (may cause testicular shrinkage).

Get Medical Help to improve low sperm count
When there is more semen than sperm, getting past the cervix is clearly a problem, since most sperm is in the first few drops of ejaculate. Men with poor sperm volume or viscosity are encouraged to withdraw from the vagina just after ejaculation starts. Or they may withdraw prior to ejaculation, collect their semen, and drop it off to a lab for the artificial insemination procedure.
