The famous delicious egg in a basket that was cooked on the movie V for vendetta.
You will need:
1 egg.
1 slice of bread.
1/2 tbsp. melted butter.
- using a glass with an appropriate size cut a hole in the middle of the bread.
- Two option to start with one is put the butter into the pan like in the video the other is to spread the butter on both sides of the bread, be sure that the butter is room temperature.
- Crack the egg into the hole we created, let it cook for about 3 mins.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper to taste.
Variations:
Remove the bread crust, sprinkle some cheese, use little to no butter and bake in oven, brown one side or both sides of the bread.
